INTRODUCTION : M.A.A.S.S.School is an educational institution which was founded on 1st march 1884. Situated at Guzri, Pachim Darwaza, Patna City.

ABOUT SCHOOL: This is a historic institution connected with the early phase of the freedom movement and the struggle against the alien dominion as well as the great reform movement launched by Sir Syed Ahmad Khan, the founder of Aligarh Muslim university.

FOUNDER: The founders of this school were those revolutionary Muslim gentry of patna city from every beating of whose heart arose the voice of patriotism and national unity. Eminent person of Bihar, Maulvi Md. Hasan was the founder of this school.

THE PURPOSE: This school was established with the sole purpose of propagating modern education with English language among muslim in Bihar.

THE EXECUTOR : Mohammadan Education Committee ( MEC ), Patna City constituted in 1881. The committee through this school has rendered very useful services to the people of Bihar in general and of Patna in particular, It has also established oriental college, Patna City.

MEMBERS OF MEC : There were many important national personalities associated with this committee such as Sir Sultan Ahmad. Maulana Mazharul Haque , Mr. Abdul Aziz, Principal Moinul Haque .Justice Ali ahmad. Justice sarwar Ali ex - acting chief Justice , Justice Aftab Ahmad .

STATUS: It is a government aided Muslim minority institution affiliated to Bihar School Examination Board , Patna.

FEATURES : Since very beginning the school has up held liberal and secular values. It is a Muslim Minority school but it has been open to all. Infact religion has never been the criteria for admission. Along with the general Classes arrangement have been made for the teaching of theology too. There are separate teachers for the teaching of Muslim and Hindu’s theology. It is even today embodiment of secularism.

PATRONS : Eminent persons of Bihar , Maulvi Md. Hasan , Sir Ali Imam , Maulana Mazharul Haque ,Khuda Bakhsh Khan, Justice Sharfuddin , Sir Sultan Ahmad , Justice Khalil Ahmad , Justice S. Akbar Hussain , Moinul Haque and other distinguished persons guided the destiny of this institution.

SOURCE OF INSPIRATION : Justice Ali Ahmad ( ex - President of the school ) , Justice Serwar Ali , Mr. S. Monawwarul Hoda ( ex – Secretary ) , Mr. S. Imam Ali, Dr. Qeyamuddin Ahmad ex – Secretary and historian , Dr. S. Akbar Ali, Prof. Md. Ali Khan ( ex – Secretary ) , Mr. Akbar Shahabuddin and other members of the managing committee and MEC will be Remembered for their untiring effort to better the lot of the institution.

INFRASTRUCTURE : There are six school buildings, one is the Science Block built in 1940 single story with gallery , classrooms and smart class room. Second for the +2 classes and a meeting room ( two storied ). The third for the principal’s chamber and +2 office. Fourth is for NCC and Sports room. The fifth is the double story building, it is a central building for teachers hall, library, computer class and office for secondary classes. It is a multi purpose hall. The first floor of this building is for girls’ section containing ten class rooms , two wash rooms , one girls common room and a corridor. The fifth building is a single story building for science laboratories. Well equipped physics, chemistry and biology laboratoties.

GARDEN : A big garden the school with beautiful flowers and plants give a beautiful look.

PLAY GROUND: There is a big play ground in the school. The sports NCC parade, yoga and other activities are held in this play ground.

EID-MILAD-UN-NABI: Eid-Milad-Un-Nabi is held by the school every year.

SARASWATI MAIDAN: For the puja of Saraswati devi there is a field in which the puja celebrations are held by the school.

ACADEMIC ENVIRONMENT: The academic atmosphere of this school has much improved and the students are being motivated to devote themselves to their studies. There is discipline in the class and the teaching runs in full swing.

STUDENTS ACTIVITIES: Our students take part in debates, essay competition, speech competition, quiz competition and in other extra curricular activities. S. Farhan Zafar of class 10th - B of this school was awarded the third prize for writing the best essay at the spot essay competition organized on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti on 2nd October 1996 by Gandhi sangrahalaya, Patna.

QUIZ COMPETITION: The students of this school are taking very much interest in quiz competitions. This is the reason that a good number of students of our school were awarded certificates of merit at all Bihar quiz contest 1996. In 2017 – 2018 Kishan Kumar of class 9th – A – 1st, Roshan Kumar Pandey of class 9th – A – 2nd and Ankit Raj of 9th – A – 3rd A senior teacher of this school Mr. Md. Razi Ahmad takes keen interest for preparing the students for the quiz, debates, seminar, speech competitions and essay competitions.

SPORTS / ANNUAL SPORTS: Sports along with co – scholastic activities are equally important in the all round development of an individual our school showed admirable commitment in sports and games.
Vipul Subhashi of class 6th – B of our school was runner up in the junior school championship of chess. Later he took part and played in abroad. In Kabaddi , Prabhu Deyal Sharma of class 10th – B of the school was selected for the Bihar State Kabaddi Team . He was the only student who was selected from Patna. Under the guidance of Mr. Md. Haseen , the sport’s teacher of this school , the annual sports is regularly held every year. And the participants get prizes by the school.

NCC: Our school is having NCC since the inception and same is working well under the able Guidance of Mr. Md. Shahbaz ANO who completed PRCN – 2010 from Ota Kamti.

LIBRARY: The school is having a rich library in which Ten Thousand Books are always available for the students and the teachers of the school.

TEACHERS: Well qualified and well experienced teachers are rendering their services with dedications. Some are column writers some are orators some participate in radio talk etc. Most of the teachers are post graduates, two are Ph.D degree holders.
